- Recent Incident of Federal Repression in New York Cityvia: @nycantirepressiongroup On October 27th at around 10am, federal Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents arrested a comrade outside of their apartment. The agents were apparently waiting for this person for several hours, and upon seeing them exit their apartment, called out their name and proceeded to arrest them. An arrest warrant was shown during transport to the federal courthouse. The agents did not enter this person’s apartment or take any of their devices. Later that same day, the arrested person was arraigned in front of a judge and released on a $25,000 bond with travel restrictions. - NYCARG Statement on 10/21 ICE RaidsOn October 21st, multiple federal agencies—ICE, DEA, DHS, CBP, and the FBI—raided Canal street in an operation targeting a street market and immigrant vendors. This comes two days after right wing influencer and Turning Point USA contributor Savanah Hernandez posted a video documenting the market and vendors, calling for ICE to “check this corner” in a viral tweet. 30-40 men were kidnapped in this raid—a continuation of the ongoing war against immigrants. - Update on NY Times Action Raids:On Sunday, September 28th, the NYPD executed three arrest warrants as part of an investigation into an incident at the New York Times headquarters on July 30, 2025. One defendant received a door knock at their home two days prior on Friday, September 26th. Search warrants authorized the seizure of all devices, as well as all printed materials (leaflets, books, and more) related to Palestine, ‘Israel,’ or the New York Times.
